Jade Johnson born and raised in Waterbury, CT. Studied dance at Naugatuck Valley Community College and received an Associates Degree in Visual & Performing Arts in 2018 and also received the Elena Delvecchio Rusnak Dance Education Scholarship. Johnson has been dancing since 3/4 years old all self taught until college. She grew up dancing and choreographing in church and has been teaching dance for over 10 years. In college, after Johnson’s first 2 semesters apart of the dance club in 2015 she became the President until graduation. After graduation Johnson was Head Coach for the Waterbury Knights dance team and also worked as the Head Dance Instructor for Waterbury Youth Services. Johnson is now running her own dance business called “Life As You Know It.”
